My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9

Have you had the fun (or the worry) of walking across the rope bridge at Disney Land?  The bridge sways in response to our footsteps.  Some people laugh and have fun swaying on the bridge with seemingly nothing but the wind in control of their lives.  But, some people battle fear.   They find it hard to believe that someone, someplace, has designed our walk across that bridge.  They aren’t going to let us fall.  Yet, they battle that fear all the way to the end of the bridge.   They need firm, solid ground under their feet.  Fear grips them when they have no control over what is happening.

Sometimes a hard loss in our lives can grab hold of our emotions giving that same kind of fear room to grow in us.  Fear can crumble us in tears as we cry out, “Jesus, I can’t do this.”  It is times like that when our Lord answers our cry and sends the peace that passes understanding to up-hold us.  Our God is able.  His strength is made perfect in [our] weakness.  With the faith that Jesus will hold up the swaying bridge—all we have to do is keep walking to the other side.
