LOVE
…by this we know love, because He laid down His life for us…(1John 3:16)…
February is the traditional month to tell a loved one how precious they are to us. Valentine’s Day is also a great reminder for us that our God is the Author of LOVE. LOVE is the emotion that reaches out to us from the CROSS of CALVARY telling us we are precious in God’s sight……
For God so loved the world
That He gave His only begotten Son
That whoever believes in Him
Should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16)

“Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us,
that we should be called children of God! (John 3:1)

The apostle Paul tells us:
I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39)
How awesome, how real, how precious, how trust-worthy, how everlasting is God’s love for us! The awe of that love should bring us to our knees as we sing His praise and ask:
“How can I serve you Lord? What is your plan for my life?”
