The prophet, Jeremiah, brought a message from God to the people of Jerusalem. He told the Jewish people that God was unhappy with them. He brought the message that God says, “They have not known me,” So, it appears that God wants us to get to know Him. We can start that journey by checking out what His attributes are.
Satan knows the Scriptures, and he understands the true meaning of every verse and every chapter. So, when Jesus was born the significance of the baby lying in a manger didn’t get past him. He watched Jesus as He grew up. He watched the men of Galilee becoming disciples of Jesus. He saw crowds gather wherever Jesus went. Even Satan’s demons knew who Jesus was.
Are we seeing the end of the world? The Middle East is in turmoil. There are wars, protesters, terrorists, civil uprisings, military threats, countries invaded; and on and on it goes? It seems the world is at an impasse where there is no escape, no way to stop all this chaos? We’ve had a long run; from Creation to 2014 A.D., but, what’s on the horizon?
When we think about Ocean tides, we can see what the author means by the words “drift away”. Remember when a huge tsunami ripped houses and cars and sea walls from Japan and carried the debris as it drifted on ocean currents to the coastline of the United States?
